Furoshiki (風呂敷) are a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth used for transporting goods.

The Furoshiki shoe is the brain-child of Japanese designer Masaya Hashimoto, who had the bright idea of taking the concept of Furoshiki and applying it to feet.


These one-of-a-kind shoes can be bought from the Japanese Vibram store for about $140 USD, and come in five colors.
